Josh had been on the road now for a few months. The way the band ran the tours was nice actually. He was gone three weekends out of the month, sometimes more. But they would meet on a Wednesday or thursday play their shows then come home on sunday or monday. So he was home a lot which was perfect for him.
He missed Lottie when he was gone so he spent as much time with her as possible when he was home and he talked to her daily when he was away. Today was no different, same old thing, different town. They where pretty busy, unloading the bus, sound check, dinner and now he actually had some time himself and he had chosen to go on the internet. He was back stage in the green room, stealing the wifi from the venue.
All too soon it was show time, he headed for the stage, guitar in hand. They had a beautiful grand piano on the stage that he'd get to play tonight, he was in love with that thing. They stepped out on stage as the announcer give them their cue, jumping right into the first song, and thats how the show went. They joked around, picked on one another. And well the ninety minute set went by quickly. it was a bit of a tradition for them that after every show, no matter the size they would go out to the merch table and sign autographs and talk to fans, and get pictures with who ever wanted them. At the moment his head was down signing a CD and talking to someone, a smile on his face as he listened to the man talk.

 Lottie was beyond excited for what was going to go down tonight. She'd spent the past hour talking to Josh online with him completely oblivious to the fact that she was already at the venue he was about to play at. Having him go off to tour every few weekends wasn't too bad since he'd only been gone for a few days but she was attached. Being away from him was hard sometimes and she was planning on surprising him this weekend.
She had hid behind stage and watched the boys play from back there. Damn was he sexy or what up on stage like that? When they finished their set, Lottie hurried to stand in the line for the signing, a copy of their CD in her hand. A grin was plastered on her face as she came closer to him, only one big guy standing in front of her now. When he'd finished with him she took a couple steps forward and slid the CD across the table, "You guys were great out there," she said, sounding like a giggly fan girl and waited for him to look up.

The band was around him, chit-chatting with the fans and well, they all where in on this little surprise of Lotties. They had never actually met her, but they heard a whole lot about her. Josh saw the CD slide across the table and picked it up to sign it, not even glancing up. "Well thank you." He watched his finger try and get the cd open. He got the cd open and signed it without a second thought, handing it over to one of the guys, "thanks for coming out tonight" he looked up and paused, It took a few moments for it to register who was standing in front of him. "Lottie!" Without a second thought he moved from behind the cd table and walked around his arms wrapping around her in a hug and a quick kiss on the lips.
"Hey hey, not in public you two!" Barry, one of the founding members of the band spoke up, grinning at the two. Josh only smiled over at them, then back to her as he took a step back letting his arms slide from around her, "What are you doing here?" He asked, he was surprised and extremely happy to see her. He was attached, that was for sure.

A grin spread across her face as he struggled with the CD. She put her hands on the table and leaned over trying to make him look up with no luck. Did he never look up at his fans? That would be pretty disappointing wouldn't it? When he did look up she grinned again, 'hey baby!" she said excitedly when he'd finally realized it was her. His reaction was priceless and she couldn't wipe the smile off her face even for a second. She kissed him back and blushed a little when she heard his band mate comment and hid her face in his chest for a second before looking back up at him.
"I came to surprise you! I was out there the entire time while we were talking earlier," she admitted proudly, glad her plan had fallen through. "thanks for keeping it quiet you guys." she said, turning her head to his band members.

Josh was generally a friendly guy so no he would talk to anyone for as long as they wanted if given the chance. His arm stayed around her shoulder, "You should have snuck into the green room." He winked at her and kissed her cheek before he got handed a cd to sign, which he did. "That explains a lot actually.." He looked at her a smile on his face, "The guys where acting funny all day." You should see what it's like on the bus with him when he hasn't talked to you. It's.. sad. very very sad." He rolled his eyes at the boys. "Have you met everyone yet?" He asked. He started to walk back behind the table, he had every intention on taking her with him.
"Who is this beautiful lady Josh?" Some older woman came up and asked, "This is my girlfriend, Charlotte" "She is beautiful, make sure you hang on to her." the older woman handed him a cd to sign and he did before he smiled over at Lottie, "I'm trying." He handed the cd back to the woman and nodded a thanks before she continued to move down the line, getting everyone to sign the cd.

"Mm, well if I snuck back there you wouldn't have made it onto the stage," she said lowering her voice, winking. A grin spread across her face when one of his band members mentioned how sad he looked when they didn't get a chance to talk and she pouted down at him playfully. "Awww, baby, you miss me?" She asked, squeezing his face between her thumb and forefinger. She leaned her head down and kissed his cheek, wiping the lipstick that transferred onto his cheek with her thumb.
Lottie smiled at the older woman that came up and blushed a little when she complimented her. She blushed deeper when he looked up at her, causing her to look away for a moment before resting her head against his. She shifted a little on his lap and waved at the rest of the band. "I remember I talked to Barry on the phone about the surprise but I don't really know anyone else." she said, looking over at his band mates.

He smiled at her and shrugged, "We could always make up for missing the green room fun." He whispered to her before he turned his attention back on his surroundings. "Of course I miss you." He turned his head slightly when he felt her squeeze his face, smiling over at her. He laughed as she got the lipstick off of his cheek, 'thanks." He raised an eyebrow slightly.
Barry was a big man, not over weight but he was really muscular, he looked gruff, he wasn't clean shaven and he had that perfect georgia drawl, he was a sweet heart of a man and had a good heart and treated everyone like they where family. Barry had nodded to her, "Yeah that was me, nice to meet you in person." He nodded at her, winking.
Uh, baby, that's Aaron-" Aaron was a tall dude, tallest member in the band and he was about as skinny as they come. He was a bit of a weirdo too, and quiet, but a nice guy none the less. "Pleasure." "-and Jason," Jason was a bit taller then Josh, probably pushing closer to six feet, he was one of the older members of the band probably in his mid forties. "Hi! "And Jim, or Jibby." Jim and Barry where the two original members of the band. Jim was in his mid thirties, happily married and had three adorable kids that seemed to be in love with every band member that came in. Jim had given Lottie a big smile and waved at her. "And last but not least we have our Baby of the band, Seth or Seffy." Seth was ninteen years old, just joined the band a few months ago and looked up to Josh and it was obvious. "We hear a lot about you." The blonde young boy smiled at her then glanced at Josh who never once lost the smile on his face. He was proud to be able to show off his girlfriend. "how was the trip here?" He asked as he signed another cd. the crowd was dwindling down they would be out of there soon.

Lottie's grin grew when he mentioned making up for lost time and she giggled a little, hiding her face in his shoulder. "I got a room in a hotel so maybe you can get some good sleep tonight." She whispered in his ear. When he introduced his band members she smiled and waved to each of them, "Nice to meet you guys. Thanks for looking after my man." she said, patting Josh's back and rubbing it.
As the line became shorter and shorter, Lottie slipped of his lap and walked over to his acoustic guitar and began strumming it a little, humming a song and singing the lyrics under her breath. She didn't want to be too loud and she looked up at him and smiled very now and then. "I should serenade you," she said, giggling a little.

He chuckled slightly and nodded when she whispered in his ear. "not a problem, we've only had to drag him out of his bunk once or twice." Josh frowned then shrugged, "i over slept." He watched her as she got up and headed for his guitar. Please do, I haven't heard you sing in a while." Josh was listening to her play, it was soothing to him honestly. The soft sound of the guitar her humming now and then, it was soothing and it relaxed him.
The crowd was pretty much and the boys started to pack up, the sound man had already started packing up the equipment on the stage and was starting to load it in the bus. "Are you hungry?" He asked walking the short distance to where she was sitting.

A grin lit up her face when he asked her to sing and she cleared her throat and decided to make something up on the spot. Her fingers strummed the guitar till she could get a good tune going and she smiled as she looked up at him,
"So there's this guy I know, his name is Josh.
He has a goatee and looks really posh.
His voice is sweet as honey and the ladies give him money
but guess what ladies the boy is mine go find another on
your own damn tiiiiiime..."
She looked up when she finished the made up verse and looked up, giggling a little. "I should work on that and make it my new single." she said, nodding. When he mentioned food she set his guitar down and nodded her head and rubbed her stomach, 'I'm always hungry."

He raised an eyebrow when she started to find a tune for this song, he was curious at what she was going to play and he stayed focused on her. Hearing the lyrics to the made up lyrics, a grin spreading across his lips. He was doing his best to not laugh, though he was chuckling. When she was finished he started to clap. 'Fantastic, brilliant!"
The guys had also looked over and where listening, finding it amusing and entertaining as hell and joining in the round of applause that Josh had given her. He nodded at her, "Good, lets go get food." He took the guitar and put it in it's case and closed it. "I just gotta help load up and I can go."

Lottie stood up after she finished singing and bowed, "Thank you, thank you," she said as she laughed. "I'll be here all week!" she added with a final bow before walking over to her boyfriend, grin still on her face. When he told her he had to help pack up she nodded and slid her hands in her back pocket. "Ok, you do that. Guys need help?" she asked, looking around, smiling at a few of the guys.

"if you want, an extra set of hands would be awesome." Barry had said with a small nod as he headed back inside the auditorium to start the load up. Josh wrapped an arm around her shoulder as he headed back for the auditorium, guitar case in hand.
The load up really didn't take that long when everyone helped. They where loaded up within a half hour. "Where did you park?" He asked as he finished putting in the last of his equipment in the bus. The guys where in the bus and would most likely go to the hotel or go get something to eat, Josh didn't care he was spending time with Lottie. "And where do you want to eat?" He asked, he wasn't exactly sure what there was here but there had to be something to eat around here.

Load up didn't take too long and Lottie enjoyed having fun and talking with his band. They were a good group of guys and she was glad they were the ones to keep Josh company on the road. "No not too far. We can go eat with your band or head back to the room and order in. I'm good with either!" She said with a soft smile, sliding her hands into her back pockets. Lottie was just glad she got to get him all to herself that night and was happy that he'd probably be able to get better sleep on an actual bed than in a bunk.

Josh shrugged, "It's up to you love, whatever you want to do." He honestly didn't really care. Though the thought of going back to the hotel and ordering in sounded like a pretty good idea, they would get more time to spend together. Either way they where together and well, as long as they where together he really didn't care. His arm was wrapped around her shoulders as he headed out of the venue, heading for the bus or car, either way he had to get some of his things for spending the night in a hotel room, which he was looking for. He spend 24/7 with 5 other guys on the bus.. not including the bus driver or their manager. Yeah it got crowded and rowdy and it was usually a big old party on the boss, well, no they behaved themselves for the most part. He had fun most of the time, but he always did miss his lottie.
