Josh only had a few shows this week. The bus rides he was a bit edgy and moody, why? Cause he was freaking himself out. He was in love with Lottie and well, he wanted to take that next step and ask her to marry him. But what if she said no? What if she said no and left.. He couldn't deal with that again. He had told the guys what he was planning and well, that just got more tolerance from them when he did randomly snap at them. However, when he stepped on the stage all those issues left and he put on a good show.
He had planned this with the help of the guys in the band actually. He spent a lot of time on the bus and why not have them help you out when you had five other guys that where bored out of their minds. Josh mostly bounced ideas off them and once he found out he had a odd week of scheduling with tours well he started to plan for this. Thursday and friday where the days for the shows this week, which meant he had off on saturday. Which means he could make it to Lottie's show on sunday and ask if she wanted to marry him. This was all planned out at least a month in advance, so he had a month to freak out, what if she said no? But what if she said yes? he whole world would change for the better and he was looking forward to it.
He had gotten a hotel room and was waiting around for the show, he had talked to her tour manager and of course he got the back stage passes he would need to get back stage to meet her after the show. Josh had snuck backstage, making sure to stay out of sight of Lottie before the show and once the show started he found a spot to watch the show from back stage. She was beautiful, the crowd loved her and well, of course they should, she was fantastic. He enjoyed seeing her out there on the stage, in the lights doing something he knew she loved to do.

Nerves, nerves, and more nerves were eating away at Lottie's insides before the show. Talking to Josh always helped but she wished he's been able to make it to her show. Having him physically there meant that she could go hug him real quick between songs but now she had to do it on her own. Once it was show time, she made a little prayer, bounced on her feet a couple of times and took her place in stage behind her piano and began to sing.
It didn't take Lottie too long to calm down and do her thing. It was always the pre-show nerves that got to her but as soon as she started singing, the disappeared. She adored her fans and they seemed to like her songs since they sang along to everything. It was easy to talk to the and get them to clap along and sing along and she enjoyed playing in front of them. When it came time for the last song, Lottie took the mic and grinned, "Hey everyone, so I need you all to clap along with this song. It's about a boy back home with a pair of the best pair of arms i've ever been in," and with that she started singing her song titles Arms that she'd written about Josh. The song was upbeat and meant a lot to her considering the things they'd been through and she meant every word.
Once the song had ended, she said goodbye to her fans and walked off stage, a huge grin on her face as she hopped around excitedly, hugging her bandmates. "That was awesome you guys!" She said laughing and grinning from the rush.

He smiled to himself when she introduced the last song. He had forgotten his nerves during her show, but when she sang that last song, it all hit him again and his stomach seemed to flip. He took a deep breath and stood, pacing. His hand digging in his pocket where he felt the ring box. He heard the final notes of the song and stopped his pacing to watch her come off stage.
He was a little ways off from the stage and he was behind her, so he chose to sneak up on her. He came up behind her, leaning over so he could whisper in her ear, his breath on her ear before he whispered, "Surprise." He grinned now, waiting for her to react.

Lottie talked among her band mates about the show but as soon as she heard his voice in her ear she stopped and turned, her face full of shock but then excitement when she realized he was actually there in front of her. A small squeal of excitement escaped her and she threw her arms around him in a hug, her feet lifting off the ground slightly. "What are you doing here?!" she asked, grinning like an idiot. Her face was a little red and her eyes a little teary with happy tears since all of her emotions were heightened with the adrenaline. Lottie kissed him a couple times quick before pulling back to look at him, taking his hand.

He grinned at her when she turned around and his arms wrapped around her, hugging her back and he did pick her up a little before he put her back on her feet."I'm here to see you." He told her. He kissed her back and when she pulled back and took his hand he smiled at her. He wanted to ask her right away, but yet he didn't want to ruin their little reunion. 'What if says no?' once again repeated in his mind and he had a bit of a distracted look on his face. He did make himself focus, made himself stay out of his head. "You where amazing, love." He smiled at her, his hand lifting hers to his lips and kissing her hand softly.

She looked up at him, smiling up at him lovingly. Her smiled turned into an embarrassed grin when he kissed her hand and she looked down shyly before looking up again. "Baby~" she said, touched that he'd come out to see her and surprise her. "Thanks," she replied, unable to keep her hands off of him and wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him and snuggling her face into his chest, happy to be in his arms. "I'm so happy you're here! I get to see you before you go on your shows!"

He loved this girl and was slowly working up the nerve to ask that one question. His arm wrapped around her shoulder, he leaned over and kissed her cheek quickly. "I'm glad I came out. I saw our schedules and thought it'd be a good idea." He nodded at her. His arm tightened around her shoulders, before his hand dug in his pocket, feeling the ring again. "Lottie, I gotta ask you something." He turned to her a moment, a small smile on his face. His fingers took the ring out of his pocket and lifted it up so she could see it. "Marry me?" He asked, a nervous smile on his face.

Good idea? It was a great idea! They had to go out and see each other during shows or else they'd never see each other at all at the rate they were going. "What baby?" she asked, looking at his face, kissing his neck softly before looking down at his hands. She saw the ring and her heart fluttered for a good 15 seconds. She had to look at his lips to make sure what he said was what she heard and she looked at him and back at the ring a few times, shocked. Lottie had made a promise to herself a while ago that she'd never love again but since she'd met Josh thing changed. She was the happiest she'd ever been and spending her life with anyone else just didn't seem to make any sense to her. She looked up at him and smiled softly before nodding, "Of course," she said, hiding her face with her hand a little as she blushed.

Josh didn't realize he was holding his breath, and the fact that she didn't say anything right away made him panic a little bit. His stomach doing flips, his heart rate rising. He did finally take a breath after realizing he couldn't breath. Hearing her say, 'of course' he grinned now, "Oh thank God. You have no idea how nervous I was about this.." He nodded at her before he took her left hand and placed that ring on her finger. It was silver, with little stones inlayed in the ring all the way around, they where little but man did they shine in the light. His arms wrapped around her and he pulled her closer to him so he could kiss her, after a few moments he pulled back. "I love you."

Lottie didn't say anything for a while because she couldn't stop thinking about how amazing it would be to tie the knot with Josh. They'd been together for almost a year now and even though Lottie was never really the marrying type of person, he was the right person for her. She didn't see why they shouldn't just make it completely official. She kissed him back and was about to say 'i love you too' when she heard her band mates start whistling and howling. She blushed deeply and hid her face in his chest again, laughing. 'I love you too, baby." she said, looking up at him, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand.

He heard the howling and whistling over her band and laughed softly. Glancing over at them he gave them a small nod before he focused back on Lottie. He kept his arm around her, "Well, now we should celebrate, ya hungry?" He asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. They where officially engaged. He'd have to tell his whole family, They had to start planning the wedding, oh it would be a lot of work but it would be worth it, he would get to spend the rest of his life with Lottie and that was something he was excited for.

Lottie grinned and kissed him again, holding his face in her hands. He'd just made her the happiest she'd ever been and the idea of getting married didn't seem so bad after all, not when Josh was going to be standing across from her at the alter. When he asked her if she was hungry Lottie gave him an Are you kidding me face and laughed a little, "When am i not?" She asked him playfully and locked her fingers with his. "Let's go find a good place." She said with a nod and waved goodbye to her band mates before heading out with Josh.

He looked directly at her when her hands cupped his face. He smiled at her and kissed her back. He laughed softly, "True, We're a perfect match my dear." Josh was sort of like a trash can, he'd eat almost anything. Almost. There was a few things he down right refused to eat, but that list was pretty slim. He nodded and took her hand headed for the door, waving at her band as they started to leave. "I hear theres a good italian place not to far from here." he told her glancing over at her.
